Lago Lindo is located in the Lakes District area, and is bounded by 91 Street to the east, 97 Street to the west, 167 Avenue to the south, and 181 Avenue to the north. A number of strategically placed pathways promote pedestrian and bicycle travel throughout the neighbourhood, including walkways that surround and connect the two stormwater lakes, Valencia and Andorra. The landscaped buffer along the 97 Street boundary also adds to the ample open spaces in the neighbourhood. A small commercial area is located on the eastern border along 91st Street, and other major amenities are available along 167th Avenue. As with all neighbourhoods in Edmonton’s Lake District, Lago Lindo was named after a body of water. “Lago Lindo” means “pretty lake” in Spanish.
